The only qualification for food is that you have a need for food based on your own judgment and that you reside in the zip codes 98270, 98271 or 98259. The Marysville Community Food Bank exists as a service to the community. Over 100 hardworking volunteers keep the Food Bank running. The majority of our food is donated by local grocery stores, businesses, service groups, schools, and individuals. We receive all our food and donations from community members, service organizations, state and federal governments, and contracted food distribution centers. Most of the contracts specify that we verify proof-of-residency for all the people we serve including all family members.

Clients may visit the food bank two times per month for complete service. Clients may also come two additional times to receive fresh produce, pastries, and bread during the last hour of distribution. Clients must still go through the line and show photo ID. Clients with infants may receive diapers and baby supplies two times a month.

Thank you for your patience when visiting the food bank.

We ask that clients bring their own reusable bags on each visit. Three to four bags are needed.
