I would like to give THANKS to the City of Marysville for granting the Food For Thought Backpack Program. The total amount is $30,000 with $15,000 being designated for the school year 2016/2017 and $15,000 for 2017/2018 which will provide almost 3,200 weekend food packs to hungry students each of the years! Thank you! Thank you! ~Amy :-) ...

Here is what the food pantries mean to both the school staff and the students receiving the items. This is from an email that I received from a teacher from one of the high schools.

"Thank you again and my students are very thankful! One hid his eyes and cried when I said he could take what he needed.

This is what you are helping the Food For Thought Backpack Program achieve! I cannot say thank you enough for the abundance of support I get from this community and the volunteers that help. You are my angles! ~Amy :-)
