We have many volunteer opportunities. Our volunteers have lots of fun and enjoy the service they are able to provide to the community. We have over 100 volunteers each month sorting food, picking up grocery rescue donations, checking in clients, and distributing food to them.
Volunteers should wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and dress in layers as it is often chilly in the warehouse. Bring your volunteer registration with you when you are ready to start volunteering and we will put you to work immediately! If you are bringing in a group of four or more volunteers, please call or e-mail the Food Bank to set a date.

We need volunteers who speak English and a second language such as Spanish, Russian, or Ukrainian during our distribution hours. Volunteers can be greeters at the door, cart pushers, computer intake specialists, or other positions as desired. The Food Bank is a fun and rewarding place to volunteer!
We need bilingual English and Spanish, Russian, or Ukrainian volunteers on Tuesdays from 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
The Marysville Community Food Bank needs drivers with a covered truck or SUV to pick-up donations from Marysville area grocery stores on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday mornings. Drivers should be physically able to lift 40 lbs as loading and unloading of the truck is required.
The grocery stores are very friendly as is the food bank staff. It works well to have two people–a driver and a helper should you wish to volunteer with a friend although many of our drivers operate alone.
Requirements: Drivers should have their own covered truck or SUV and a clean driving record. Drivers also need to have the ability to lift 40 pounds.
The Food Bank is involved in many community events. Most require a table set up with Food Bank information and a few volunteers to tend to the table. We are looking for someone to assist with the coordination of such events.
